Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Kulit Batang Bakau Lindur (Bruguiera gymnorrhiza) Terhadap Jumlah Dan Kualitas Sperma Tikus Putih(Rattus norvegicus) Galur Sprague-Dawley Yang Diinduksi Alkohol

Bruguiera gymnorrhiza bark contains high antioxidant including alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, phenol hidroquinone, saponin, and triterpenoid. The function of antioxidant is to prevent axidative stress, one that causes free radicals to onsume alcoholic beverages. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefit of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza bark to improve the fertility of spermatozoa in white rats (Rattus norvegicus) Sprague-Dawley strain were is induced by alcohol. This study used 32 rats divided into 4 groups for 7 days,namely group K1 non alcohol induced and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza bark extract, group K2 induced with alcohol for 7 days, group P1 induced with alcohol and given Bruguiera gymnorrhiza bark extract at a dose of 150 mg/kgBB for 7 days, group P2 induced with alcohol and given Bruguiera gymnorrhiza bark extract at a dose of 300 mg/kgBB for 7 days. The parameters examined count and quality of spermatozoa. Data analysis using One-Way ANOVA test shows value p < 0,05 for the count, motility, viability, and morphology of spermatozoa. In the Post Hoc test the value of p > 0,05 is obtained between groups K1, K2, P1, and P2 so that it does not show significant differences. There was an effect of extract bruguiera gymnorrhiza bark on count and quality of sperm of white rats (rattus norvegicus) sprague-dawley strain were is induced by alcohol,with a statistically effective dose is the dose of 150 mg/kgBB.
