Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is a disorder characterized by recurrent vertigo which caused by positional head changes like gazing upward, position change from laying, or trying to straighten posture from bend over. Vertigo causes abnormal perception and may cause mild dizziness to nausea and vomiting which hinders daily life. BPPV is a common vestibular disorder that can result in significant morbidity, psychosocial impact, and large medical costs if BPPV is not diagnosed. The references which are used in this review are 14 journal articles which are fetched from PubMed NCBI and OJS Udayana University and 4 books which all are published in range of 2009-2020. The references are further analzyed with systematic literature review which include activities such as collecting, evaluating, and the development of research with certain focus. BPPV is the most common cause of vestibular vertigo in adults. Diagnosis of BPPV can be made by history and certain maneuvers. The Dix-Hallpike maneuver is the main maneuver in the diagnosis of BPPV The Dix-Hallpike maneuver and the Supine Head Roll are the options to help diagnose BPPV. Modified Dix-Hallpike may help in diagnosing multiple canal BPPV which may be challenging to assess with classic Dix-Hallpike Manuever.
