Correlation Between Radiological Image and Type of Lung Tumor in Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung Province Hospital 2018-2021

Tumor is an abnormal lump in the body that can be caused by various diseases such as malignancy and infection. Tumors can occur in vital organs in the body, one of which is the lungs. In Indonesia, according to data from GLOBOCAN, deaths caused by malignant lung tumors ranked first, reaching 30,843 people and new cases being in third place, reaching 34,783 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between radiological images and the type of lung tumor in RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung province in 2018-2021. This type of research is an analytical survey with a retrospective method using purposive sampling technique. The data used using secondary data in the form of medical records. Results in this study The research sample was 244 lung tumor patients. The proportion of patients with lung tumors based on the highest characteristics was obtained in the age group of 61-70 years, male, had a history of smoking and had no comorbidities. While the most locations were found in the central lung, right lung, superior lobe and basal segment for the most histological type is adenocarcinoma. So the conclusion in this study is that there is a statistically significant relationship between the location of the tumor and the type of tumor in RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek in Lampung province in 2018-2021.
