Rhinitis Alergi, Rhinitis nonalergi, Rhinitis Vasomotor

Nonallergic rhinitis (NAR) is not a single disease with 1 underlying mechanism but is a collection of several different conditions that cause similar nasal symptoms. Non-allergic rhinitis is sometimes nearly indistinguishable from allergic rhinitis (AR), although usually nasal and palatal itching, sneezing, and conjunctival irritation are less prominent. Syndromes such as nasal congestion, discharge from the nose, or rhinorrhea, and are not caused or related to allergens are the notions of non-allergic rhinitis (NAR) which can be divided into several subtypes, and one of the most common is vasomotor rhinitis (VMR). This research uses the method of compiling articles with literature studies or literature studies that are carried out by searching articles in national journals and international journals. The articles used are articles that are relevant from 2012 until now, namely in 2023. The results of the research were obtained in the form of a deeper study of vasomotor rhinitis. Triggers of vasomotor rhinitis are non-infectious triggers, the etiology is also unclear until the conclusion of the search for a complete diagnosis, and is associated with symptoms of non-allergic rhinitis. The recommended therapy to be carried out is in the form of avoiding trigger factors, taking drugs such as steroids, decongestants, anticholinergics, and other drugs with the final option being surgery.
