An An Overview of the Dimensions of Adversity Intelligence in Second-Year Overseas Students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung

Adversity intelligence is the ability to turn a problem into an opportunity to achieving success. The theory put forward by Stoltz divides adversity intelligence into four aspects or dimensions, namely control, origin and ownership, reach, and endurance. This research use method from primary data by distributing and filling in adversity quotient scale questionnaires to second-year students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung. The purpose of this study was to see an overview of the dimensions of adversity intelligence in second-year overseas students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung. Then, the data will analyze using statistical applications in the form of an overview of the four dimensions of adversity intelligence. The results showed that the respondent's residence was 140 students (97.2%) living in boarding houses and 4 students (2.8%) living with non-parent families. Based on the dimensions of adversity intelligence, 80 students (55.5%) had high self-control. On the dimensions of origin and ownership, the majority have high scores, namely 82 students (57%); on the reach dimension the majority are at the moderate level, namely as many as 83 students (57.65); and lastly, on the endurance dimension, the majority respondents have high score with a total of 117 students (81.25%).
