Plagiarism Screening

Plagiarism Screening Policy
SALVERA

SALVERA maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and academic dishonesty. All submitted manuscripts undergo a comprehensive plagiarism screening process to ensure originality and uphold the integrity of scholarly publishing.

Screening Process:

  • All submissions are automatically screened using Turnitin/iThenticate or equivalent similarity detection tools.

  • Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% (excluding references, quotes, and common phrases) will be reviewed further by the editorial team.

  • Self-plagiarism, duplicate submissions, and image/data manipulation are also evaluated as part of the screening process.

Editorial Actions:

  • Minor overlap: Authors will be requested to revise the overlapping content and provide justifications or proper citations.

  • Major plagiarism: The manuscript will be rejected immediately and authors may be banned from future submissions.

  • In cases of suspected ethical misconduct, SALVERA follows COPE guidelines and may contact the authors’ institutions.

Author Responsibility:

Authors are expected to submit original work and properly cite all sources, including paraphrased content. Submissions must not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration by another journal.

SALVERA is committed to:

  • Promoting academic honesty and transparency.

  • Ensuring fair peer review free from unethical academic behavior.

  • Maintaining the highest standards in scientific publishing ethics.
